Julie Ehrens

Managing Director

Julie Ehrens serves as Managing Director of Willoughby Group, employing her experience in senior-level talent acquisition, executive search, technical recruiting, consulting, and more in overseeing the successful growth and development of the firm.

Prior to joining Willoughby Group, Julie spent 23 years as a senior HR professional with Deloitte, working her way up from National Recruiting Manager to HR Partner/Director Talent Acquisition Leader. She developed extensive experience in the full recruitment lifecycle, from deeply understanding the needs of her corporate clients to matching those with the ideal personalities of her candidates.

Among her many accomplishments, Julie built several new business offerings to meet the clients’ needs by attracting top talent to the organization. Julie also helped implement a career customization and coaching program which identified different career paths for an individual while matching the organization’s goals.

Before Deloitte, Julie was a consultant with Classified Ventures, where she staffed an internet start-up funded by Chicago Tribune, Washington Post and Times Mirror that became cars.com, homes.com, and apartments.com.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family. Her interests include DIY projects, reading, true crime podcasts and watching all kinds of sports.
